Special Initiative for Rebuilding and Resiliency Workshops

The New York City Special Initiative for Rebuilding and Resiliency is holding a series of programs for residents to help them plan how to rebuild and to discuss how to make the community more resilient in preparation of future storms.

These SIRR meetings will allow residents to join for a facilitated conversation on how to rebuild and create a more resilient city. There are three workshops taking place in different areas. All of the following programs begin at 7:30 p.m..

The Mid and West Rockaway Peninsula Public Workshop takes place on March 11th at Beach Channel High School. The Howard Beach/ West Hamilton Beach/ Broad Channel Workshop will be held on March 14th at Russo’s on the Bay. The last workshop will be held in PS 43 in Far Rockaway on March 18th.

Each workshop requires a reservation. Depending on the date of the event that you wish to attend, email RSVPMarch11@nycsirr.org, or RSVPMarch14 @nycsirr.org or RSVPMarch18@nycsirr.org with the full name and email of each guest or call 212-618-5745 to RSVP.
