Dear Editor:

After hearing all these words about rebuilding and resilience and getting back to normal, I started thinking about what is “normal”? I mean it was bad enough to endure The Wave without Kevin Boyle’s Boiling Points but then after Sandy there was no more Sudoku. I thought this was more than all of us could bear. But recently, my wife sent me a copy of The Wave and, to my surprise, there they were! Both of them, Boyle and Sudoku!! Imagine my delight! Now please, if we ever have to undergo another catastrophe like this again, please take care to bring us our Sudoku or we’ll overrun your office.
