Fire on Beach 66th Street

According to the New York City Fire Department a fire was reported at a two story private dwelling at 325 Beach 66th Street. on Wednesday, January 16th.

Responding to an all hands alert at 7:25 a.m., FDNY personnel, eventually totaling 13 units and 65 firefighters, arrived at 7:30 a.m. They had the second story blaze under control by 8:09 a.m.

One man suffering from cardiac arrest was taken to St. John’s Hospital. Three other people were taken to Jamaica Hospital with minor injuries.
