Mad As Hell

Dear Editor:

This letter is directed to our “public servants” in Washington who, two months and counting after the devastation of Sandy, refused to vote on even minimal relief funds.

I live in an area that was pummeled by Sandy. I have seen and heard direct from people in many equally devastated areas all over.

These are my neighbors. These are good, hardworking people who want nothing more than help through the most devastating time we have all faced in our lives.

I never thought I would see the day when Americans would so callously have a collective back turned on them.

This while OUR representatives play political football and spout their “deficit” and “pork” garbage over and over and over again.

I dare any of these SOB's or their propagandists to come out to Southeast Queens. We will rub your nasty little face in it so hard so will not forget what you have seen here.

No one who has lived through this will ever forget it. Nor will they forget what you have done.

We are so done with you.
