New Scarves For PS 47 Students

First graders at P.S. 47, along with their teacher Mrs. Stathis, are truly appreciative of scarves that they received after Hurricane Sandy from Girl Scout Troop 7012 in Wausau, Wisconsin. Julianna Theis, mother of Charlotte, had contacted Stathis and said that her cousin’s daughter’s Girl Scout Troup, had made these scarves for Charlotte’s classmates because they felt that the students would need them with the weather getting colder. All the Broad Channel first graders were affected by the hurricane and were very excited when the new scarves arrived. A big thanks to Girl Scout Troop 7012!
