Libraries To Host Gift Giveaways

Queens Library locations in the Rockaways will host gala holiday gatherings featuring gift giveaways for children and teens, on two dates in four locations. Admission is free. Events will include refreshments, entertainment and special guests to help distribute the gifts.

Tuesday, December 18, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m., Arverne Library, 312 Beach 54 Street.

Gifts and support for this event have been provided by Councilmember James Sanders, Jr., NYPD Patrol Borough Queens South, the staff of The New York Community Trust.

Tuesday, December 18, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m., Peninsula's Mobile Library, 92-25 Rockaway Beach Boulevard near the Cross Bay Bridge. Gifts and support for this event have been provided by Councilmember James Sanders, Jr., NYPD Patrol Borough Queens South, the staff of The New York Community Trust.

Tuesday, December 18, 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm, Queens Library for Teens, 2002 Cornaga Avenue. Gifts and support for this event have been provided by Councilmember James Sanders, Jr., NYPD Patrol Borough Queens South, the staff of The New York Community Trust and HOT 97Hip Hop Has Heart Foundation.

Friday, December 21, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., Peninsula's Mobile Library, 92-25 Rockaway Beach Boulevard near the Cross Bay Bridge. Gifts have been donated by library customers across Queens.
