William K. Gordon, a longtime Rockaway resident, died December 2.

Gordon was born in Philipsburg, New Jersey. He moved to Rockaway 23 years ago from Middle Village, New York. Gordon was a World War II Veteran and belonged to the American Legion Post 272.

Gordon was preceded in death by his brother, Albert.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (nee Wellbrock) Gordon; brother-in-law, Charles Wellbrock.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Rockaway Beach. Interment took place at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Flushing, New York.
