Lisa Marie Plays Westbury November 16
Presley has been in the public eye since before she was born. The daughter of two famous people, Lisa Marie was tasked with the daunting challenge of finding her own path while still maintaining her strong family connection and love for her southern roots. She’s had a career as a model, carried signs for deeply felt causes, testified before Congress and - last but definitely not least - she’s tenaciously explored and grown as a respected music artist. “Storm & Grace,” her first album in seven years, was released in May 2012.
“Storm & Grace” reflects her Southern roots, from the ominous, swampy vibe of lead single “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet“ and “Sticks And Stones“ to “Soften The Blows“ and the achingly beautiful title track, which evoke the ease of an impromptu back porch jam session. Her 2003 album, To Whom It May Concern, was certified Gold and 2005’s Now What debuted in the Top Ten on Billboard’s 200 chart. Aside from her full-time job as mother, wife and music artist, Lisa Marie always finds time to help others. She has founded two organizations, Presley Place and Presley Charitable Foundation. She also works closely with the Citizen’s Committee for Human Rights and The Dream Factory.
