H.S.Roundup: Dolphins, Seahorses Win
Beach Channel/Channel View earned a 22-12 victory in the Bronx last Saturday against Harry S. Truman. Running back Chris Reed compiled 85 yards on 12 carries and had two touchdowns. Quarterback Breland Archold had 97 yards rushing and a touchdown run for the Dolphins.
Foley Fatukasi recorded two sacks; Marcus Wilcox had ten tackles as Beach Channel improved to 4-2 in the PSAL championship division.
The league awarded the Dolphins a forfeit victory this week for a game played on September 15 against Grand Street Campus. The Dolphins had lost that matchup 24-20. Beach Channel will travel to Flushing (2-4) in an important matchup in terms of playoff positioning on Saturday at noon.
Far Rockaway snapped a four-game losing streak by gaining a 20-6 home victory over William C. Bryant on Saturday. Quarterback Tresean Harper threw for 241 passing yards, and completed two touchdown passes to Romello White, who also rushed for 133 yards. The Seahorses (2-4), who play Cardozo at 12 p.m. Saturday.

The Bishop Kearney freshmen cross country team, led by locals Jackie Gallagher, Tessy Gallagher, Kailey O’Grady, Annaliese Tucci and Kaitlin Monohan each captured a medal were in the 39th Manhattan College Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park.
