Malcolm Hoenlein Visits Temple Beth-El 10/15
Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, will be the guest speaker at Temple Beth-El of Rockaway Park on Monday evening, October 15 beginning at 8:00 p.m.
Hoenlein has traveled throughout the world meeting with world leaders and Jewish communities. He has written and lectured across the US and abroad on international relations regarding Israel and the Middle East, Soviet and World Jewry, terrorism and the American Jewish community. He has served as an advisor to many public officials and is frequently consulted on public policy issues. He consults with our presidents, Israeli leaders and is probably one of the foremost authorities on Israeli issues.
If you want to know what is doing behind closed doors, Malcolm Hoenlein knows. He is a dynamic speaker and listening to his lecture you will learn more than on any Sunday morning political program or what is printed in our newspapers.
Certainly not a newcomer to the Israeli political scene, Hoenlein received his B.A. in Political Science from Temple University and his master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of International Relations, where he completed his doctoral course work. In addition, he is a National Defense Fellow in the University’s Near East Center and has taught International Relations in the Political Science Department and served as a Middle East specialist at the Foreign Policy Research Institute.
He is the recipient of numerous awards in connection with his work and is world-renowned.
Be ready to attend a fascinating evening at Temple Beth-El of Rockaway, which is located at 201 Beach 121 Street, Rockaway Park.
