Who To Vote For In 2012

Dear Editor,

Who to vote for in 2012 should not be the dilemma you described. In your own column you have at least 520 reasons for choosing the President ... the money Obamacare saved you when it began to close the “donut hole.” Here are a few more: this is the President who ended one unnecessary war and is closing another, this is the President whose stimulus plans have repaired roads, schools, libraries across the nation, this is the President who kept the banks open, the auto manufacturers operating, raised emission standards to new levels, established a consumer protection agency, fought to protect a woman’s right to choice and to provide equality in the labor market and ended “don’t ask, don’t tell” policies; this is the President who has been determined and persistent in pursuing terrorists around the globe including bin Laden, he has protected Israel’s back at the UN and provided funds and weapons to that nation despite differences in approaches to peace in the area; this is the President who recognized the significance of the Arab Spring and supported the movement without involving American troops on the ground and this is the President who has led the way towards providing a national health care system and this is the President who has spent three years facing down a determined opposition who was willing to throw America “under the bus” in order to defeat him. No sir, this is not a “lousy” President. (show some respect!) This is a President well qualified for this job and one this country needs. It is an easy choice to cast a ballot for Barack Obama again.
