Long Island Rough Riders ConductYouth Soccer Tryouts

The Long Island Rough Riders have opened tryout registration for Junior Rough Riders teams U-7 through U-13. A spokesperson suggests, “Be part of the rich soccer tradition of the Long Island Rough Riders who have been the leaders in developing local talent.”

This all-star program allows players to remain with their hometown club, while representing the Rough Rider’s franchise.

The Riders Developmental Program is an 11-month professional youth development program that is affiliated with the Rough Riders Men’s and Women’s soccer franchise.

Individuals who are chosen for the Junior Rough Riders Developmental Program become part of an elite player community. This community represents the best youth players on Long Island, says the organization.

The program is dedicated to identifying and properly developing players that represent the talent associated with Long Island soccer. These elite level players train together, forming a cohesive team that can successfully compete at the highest level of the game.

Teams U-12 and older, will participate in the United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League Mid-Atlantic Division of the Northeast Conference. Certain teams may also participate in national and regional tournaments. Coaching Staff
