How would that have prevented

How would that have prevented the death of that teenager. The problem is that other states have lax him control laws. Criminals are bringing guns into NY. The answer is stiffer laws nationwide. Control sale of bullets

Why don't people look to the

Why don't people look to the facts. Of the 31 states that have allowed people that have gone through a handgun class to carry a concealed weapon the crime rate has fallen. We need to arm our citizens so the criminals will think twice before pulling out their weapon.

Amen to that. All the shall-issue states like Texas has a much lower crime rate than cities with tough gun laws like NY, DC, Chicago, Detroit. Criminals will always break the law so creating tougher laws will not deter criminals.
