School’s Out Fun At Bayswater Park

Despite the heat, community members got together at Bayswater Park for the annual ‘School’s Out’ celebration on June 30. Sponsored by the Parks Department and Councilman James Sanders Jr., the day featured games, crafts for the youngsters, and a petting zoo. Also scheduled were two All-star basketball challenges – a Rockaway Teen Challenge game and a Stack Bundles Stop the Violence game.
