St.John’s Holds Successful Health Fair
More than 250 people attended the health fair, with more than 140 people screened for high blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose, as well as eyes, and body fat percentage. Others spoke with health specialists and took away education about good nutrition, chemical dependency, nursing services, walking programs, and getting better access to health care through Healthfirst.
Approximately 50 people from St. John’s volunteered their time and demonstrated their commitment to health of the community.
They represented a wide array of health care disciplines including Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Nutrition, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Hemodialysis, Nursing, Family Resource Center, Volunteers, Pathology, Psychiatry, Imaging, and Risk Management.
