Classic Rock Weekend At Westbury Theatre

Frank Zappa’s music will be celebrated. Frank Zappa’s music will be celebrated. Live Nation’s NYCB Theatre at Westbury will host two classic rock concerts on Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30.

The weekend begins with Electric Hot Tuna and special guests Steve Kimock and Billy Goodman on Friday, June 29 at 8 p.m. Then, on Saturday night, June 30, Dweezil Zappa & The Zappa Family Trust present the music of Frank Zappa when Zappa Plays Zappa arrives for one show only.

Friday, June 29:

Electric Hot Tuna featuring Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, Skoota Warner, and Barry Mitterhoff is a straight on rock and roll celebration of a lifetime of friendships and musical camaraderie. From their days playing together as teenagers to their current acoustic and electric blues, probably no one has more consistently led American music for the last 50 years — yes! — than Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, the founders and continuing core members of Hot Tuna.
