St. Edmunds Students Visit Italy
As part of the Travel Study Course offered at St. Edmund Preparatory High School students recently took a 10 day trip to Italy. Fortyfour students and eight chaperones boarded a plane to experience the Italian culture first-hand instead of taking a virtual tour on the computer. The students toured Milan, Verona, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Assisi, Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri, and Rome.
Throughout the semester students learned about Italian culture, history, language, and art in all of the cities and regions they visited. When they returned each student presented a photojournalism project during an event in the school in front of administration, family and friends. Last year students visited Ireland and next year they are going to study and visit yet another country.
