Surf Contest - Come out to cheer some of the best east coast surfers as they vie for $3000 in prize money sponsored by Nike.

Manny Mania Skate Contest - Sponsored by Red Bull Skate Contest is a qualifier for Manny Mania, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Stand Up Paddle Board Races - For the first time, the Rockstock Stand Up Paddle Board Race sponsored by H2O Generation

Bands to perform include:

Walker Hornung. Walker, along with the band Q-South, got his start introducing New York City to a new sound: rock attacked by flamenco guitars. His songwriting in Q-South created the timeless 1997 self-titled release QSouth (Time Square Records). Walker also wrote and fronted the music for The Brotherhood of the Grape, four full length albums (Into the Whip Records). The music along with a string of unforgettable performances across Manhattan and the wider U.S. solidified him as a true New York treasure. His search for different styles led him to collaborations with Soca sensations Machel Montano, Alison Hinds, and Bunji Garlin. The Caribbean provided a brand new garden for Walker’s blend of rock and soca to take root. Rockstock Walker will be appearing at The Theater at Jones Beach on July 8.

Exit Verona - Exit Verona blends urgent punk rock guitar riffs with ethereal melodies and introspective lyrics. The result is a parade of contagious choruses and pointed chord progressions. Exit Verona has performed at many of the area’s premiere rock clubs, such as CBGBs, The Lion’s Den, Acme Under- Ground.

The Indecent - Breaking out of the NY underground music scene is Warner Brothers Records. The Indecent makes music that is aggressive, subtle, poetic, noisy.

Toy Sugar - Toy Sugar, one of NYC’s best young new bands, writes and performs their original brand of hard driving indie rock with classic riffs and thoughtful lyrics influenced by early Bowie to The Who, The Arctic Monkeys and others. Toy Sugar looks forward to recording a three song compilation this summer. For more information visit www.brotherhoodofthegrape.com
