Golf Tip Of The Week By Joel Garyn

Putting: Pick a spot on the ball

For those who have a tendency to follow the club head when hitting a putt, chip or pitch shot, which can create all kinds of problems such as either hitting the ball fat and chunking the shot or skulling the ball across the green.

The best solution is to pick a specific spot on the back of the ball and concentrate very hard on the spot, not taking your eyes off it until well after the ball is gone.

This not only helps prevent bad misses but also helps you make a good quiet stroke.
