Kiddy Porn Perv Is FDNY EMT
The Rockaway Park man busted by the feds for kiddy porn is an eight year veteran of the fire department’s Emergency Medical Service who is stationed in Rockaway, department officials said this week.
EMT Timothy Wayne, assigned to Station 47 on Beach 54 Street, was caught with such videos as “Toddler Girl: Stop, Don’t Stop,” “Studio 10YO,” and “Yo Girl, Pedoland,” on an external drive found in his second floor apartment at 164 Beach 122 Street, a sixfamily apartment building, when the feds raided it last week.
Wayne was busted and charged in federal court with having, producing and disseminating “visual depictions having involved the use of one or more minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.”
He was suspended from the department last week pending the outcome of his federal criminal case, fire officials told The Wave.
Neighbors who share the six-family unit with Wayne were shocked by the arrest.
One neighbor, who asked not to be identified, called federal investigators to see if her two children, who often play outside the house, were shown in any of his videos. She worries about the fallout from the arrest.
“My husband barbeques on the front porch and people drive by and look at him as if he was the one who had the porn,” she said. “I’m afraid to allow my kids to play outside as long as he is around.”
Federal investigator Robert Mancene, an agent with Homeland Security Investigations, said that in October of last year he was investigating computers with New York IP addresses that were sharing child pornography files on the Internet.
Wayne’s Internet address was one of those under investigation, court records show. Based on the Internet findings, a number of agents executed a warrant at Wayne’s Rockaway address on March 29. Wayne was home at the time and told the investigators that he had lived at that address for about a year.
Among the computers in the apartment, Mancene found an external hard drive sitting on top of a desktop computer tower.
A check of the external hard drive revealed videos and images depicting child pornography.
The contents of the videos were described in detail in the criminal complaint against Wayne. Some of them depicted pre-teen girls having sex with men and each other. Others were scenes of pre-teen girls undressing and caressing themselves for the camera.
In at least one of the videos, officials say, the child in the video was identified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as a missing person.
On March 29, federal officials say, Wayne admitted that he had searched and downloaded child pornography.
He was arraigned in federal court in East Islip, Long Island late last week and is out on bail awaiting his next court hearing, court officials said this week.
