St. John’s Hosts Billy Joel Premiere Show Fundraiser
The Development Board of St. John’s Episcopal Hospital held a benefit featuring Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot: The Premiere Billy Joel Show on Thursday, March 29, at the Woodmere Club. More than 230 people were in attendance, dancing along with the music, and raising approximately $25,000 dedicated to the services in intensive, cardiac and emergency care.
Two longtime members of Billy Joel’s band performed along with the group, Tommy Byrnes and Mark Rivera.
The event honored St. John’s staff of the year including: Employee of the Year Dacia Bacchus, RN, Ambulatory Surgery; Physician of the Year Tessy Peter, MD, Associate Chairperson, Family Practice; Manager of the Year Naasira Salahuddin, RN, Nursing Administrative Supervisor; and Team of the Year Pulmonary Care Center Tower 8.
