Snider Jams ForAutism

The Sid Jacobsen Jewish Community Center will present The Dee Snider & Friends Jam For Autism at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Thursday, April 19, at 8 p.m. Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider and his all-star line-up of rock musicians will jam together to support the Sid Jacobson JCC programs serving children, teens and adults with autism spectrum disorders and their families. The Jam for Autism will feature Dee Snider, Eric Bloom & Buck Dharma from Blue Oyster Cult, Debbie Gibson, John Hampson from Nine Days, Randy Jackson from Zebra, Chad Kimball from Broadway’s Memphis, Mark Mendozo from Twisted Sister, Bobby Rondinelli from Rainbow and Black Sabbath and Leslie West of Mountain.

Special packages will include a preshow “sound check” party and meet & greet with Dee Snider.

While perhaps best known as the lead singer of 80’s sensation, Twisted Sister, there is so much more to Dee Snider. He has starred in several reality TV shows, is a frequent host on MTV Networks and his own nationally syndicated radio show House Of Hair is heard on more than 200 stations in North America.

His recent starring role on Broadway in the hit musical Rock Of Ages generated national exposure and inspired him to make a brand new record featuring some of Broadway’s greatest songs, titled “Dee Does Broadway.” His autobiography, “Shut Up and Give Me The Mic”, as well as his new record will both be released in May. To cap this all off, Dee is presently starring in Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, Sunday nights on NBC.
