My SJEH Experiences

Dear Editor,

I and a member of my family had to use the emergency room at St. John’s Hospital in the past two weeks.

The emergency room was overloaded due to the problems at Peninsula Hospital. Even though the staff was rushed the service we received was excellent. The wait time before being attended to was, I believe, minimal. The staff was very attentive not only to our problems but to the other patients as well.

I write this note because of the article by Miriam Rosenberg in The Wave of March 9, 2012, reporting on the Consumer Reports rating of the hospital, was based on studies done in 2009 and 2010.
