SFDS Girls Win CYO Title



The reigning Brooklyn-Queens Diocesan champions, St. Francis de Sales, earned another title on Saturday, March 3 at St. Dominic High School in Oyster Bay. The fifth grade girls champions defeated St. Patrick of Huntington, 19-14, in the first annual Nassau/Suffolk/Brooklyn/Queens CYO Classic Championships. SFDS had won the Brooklyn-Queens title on February 26 at St. John’s Prep in a 24-19 victory over OLQM. The parish, parents and the coach express their congratulations to the girls for having a great season.
