Colgate-Palmolive Visits Rockaway Beach School


Ian Cook works with a third grade class on a Dental Health Project. Ian Cook works with a third grade class on a Dental Health Project. Ian Cook, president and CEO of the Colgate-Palmolive Com- pany, visited St. Rose of Lima on Thursday, February 16.

Cook visited some classrooms and worked with the children on dental health projects using their SMARTboards, SMART- pens and other SMART technologies.

Cook also addressed the students in a schoolwide assembly on the importance of dental hygiene.

Students were then given dental screenings by the Colgate Team, visited by Colgate Mas- cot, “Dr. Rabbit,“ and received a special treat to help keep their teeth clean and healthy.
