Anthony Maltese, 84, a longtime Rockaway resident, died February 17.
Maltese was a foreman and lived in Rockaway for 14 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Maltese was a member of the Christ Presbyterian Church by the Sea.
He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years Dolores; children, Paul, Anthony, Maria Rose, Stephanie Froehlich, and John Maltese; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Disposition took place at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York.
