Good Weather, Good Cause Combine At Annual Plunge Icey Dip For CF Draws Hundreds To Beach 99 Street

The twelfth annual Plunge For Cystic Fibrosis took place last Saturday, February 4, at Beach 99 Street and the oceanfront. The plunge was sponsored by the family of Annie McMahon, a 15-year-old girl with the disease. The event drew hundreds who hit the chilly waters of the Atlantic at 2 p.m., after a short warm-up at Springman Hall at St. Camillus Church, where the after-party was held as well.
