PHC Appoints David Masini
Peninsula Hospital Center announced the appointment of David Masini as its Chief Operating Officer. “I am thrilled that David has joined us at Peninsula Hospital,” said Todd Miller, CEO. “His experience and expertise promise to improve the quality care and services we can provide to the community. As we move forward, his leadership and guidance will be essential.”
Before joining Peninsula Hospital Center, Masini served as Vice President of Administration at St. Luke’s- Roosevelt Hospital where he was responsible for Emergency Services, Ambulatory Care Services and all hospital support services including Facilities Management, Emergency Preparedness, Environment of Care and Safety. During his tenure at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt, Masini was responsible for overall facilitation of the $20 million expansion of the Emergency Department project, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Cardio-thoracic Private Pavilion, among other projects. He will oversee a redesign and expansion of the Peninsula Hospital Center’s Emergency Department in the coming months.
As Chief Operating Officer, Masini brings his years of experience to the restructuring efforts of the Hospital Center. “It is an exciting time to be a part of Peninsula Hospital Center,” states Masini. “The hospital is an integral part of the community already, but as we move to introduce even more programs to relevantly serve the residents, I firmly believe it can and will play an even more critical role. This is a great time to be a part of such a renaissance and I look forward to the exciting challenges ahead.” His portfolio will include strategic planning, development, and visionary leadership.
