A-Train Wolfpack Busted
A vicious eight-teen wolfpack bent on robbing and beating A-train passengers went on a rampage on January 11 until cops from the 100 Precinct put an end to the mayhem at the Broad Channel subway station, court records show.
Police say that three of the pack’s victims were waiting at the Broad Channel station. When it arrived, the three, two males and a female, whose identity is being withheld by The Wave because they face danger from the thugs’ friends, were pulled into the train by the members of the pack.
Court records identify the suspects as Oscar Paige, 19, of 438 Beach 40 Street; Davon Davis, 17, of 51-45 Almeda Avenue; Deandre Kelly, 17, of 453 Beach 40 Street; Cordel Rose, 17, of 38- 08 Beach Channel Drive; Corrie Gasby, 17, of 40-20 Beach Channel Drive; Kiaan Richards, 17, of Ozone Park; and Chad Green, 16, of 54-09 Almeda Avenue. The last member of the pack, an unidentified 15-year-old, was remanded to juvenile court.
After the three victims were pulled into the subway car, they were surrounded by the eight teens.
One of the pack members pulled a Los Angeles Laker hat from the head of the female victim and then they all began beating and kicking the three, knocking them to the floor.
One of the pack used a cane to beat the three about the face and body, court records allege.
One of the perpetrators pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed one of the male victims a number of times in his leg.
Police responding to a call of a fight on the train arrived and quickly corralled the seven teens.
Two of the victims were treated by EMS at the scene and then released.
The victim who was stabbed was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Seven of the pack members were arraigned on January 13 in Queens Criminal Court.
They were all charged with assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
They are due back in court next week.
