Turner Holding Local Field Office Events
Congressman Bob Turner is sending his team of constituent workers back into the field to help the constituents of the Rockaway and Broad Channel areas of his district. He announced the next set of dates for his continuing series of satellite congressional field office events.
The next set of dates will take place in Broad Channel and the Rockaways. The Congressman’s Senior Caseworker will be at Rockaway-Peninsula Library on Friday, January 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. located at 92-25 Rockaway Beach Boulevard. The following Monday, January 30, another event will be at the Broad Channel Library from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. located at 16-26 Cross Bay Boulevard.
“It is absolutely essential that my staff and I are able to provide the best possible constituent services to constituents of the 9th district. This ongoing series of congressional field office events will provide a more convenient location for many residents who cannot easily travel to my district office to receive needed federal assistance,” Congressman Turner said. “For many of the hard-working and senior constituents of the New York 9th, these events will continue to provide them an opportunity to meet with my senior caseworker closer to home.”
These satellite field office events provide additional opportunities for those in need of assistance with a federal issue or agency to review possible courses of action with a casework specialist. Congressman Turner’s office can help work with agencies including the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Social Security Administration, and Department of Veterans Affairs. “Working with federal agencies can be a confusing and frustrating process. My district office has an experienced staff of caseworkers in place who are adept at working through the system and with liaisons within federal agencies,” Turner said. “We are here to help you learn any and all options available to you in dealing with federal issues. I encourage all those in need of assistance with a federal issue to come see if my staff can be of service. We have already gotten positive results for many of our constituents.”
