Pauline Seigal turned 100 years old on December 24. She has been a resident in the JASA buildings for over 35 years and has been a volunteer at the JASA-Brookdale Village Senior Center for almost all of them. Seigal loves living at JASA. She thinks that the meals at the senior center are great and she says that doing her daily volunteer work there keeps her young. Brookdale Village Senior Center celebrated her 100th birthday in their dining room on December 21. Her three sons were present. Councilman James Sanders Jr. and Assemblyman Phillip Goldfeder presented Seigal with citations honoring her on her special day. The centenarian has three sons, eleven grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. She is an extraordinary woman.
