JASA Joins Fight Against Hunger

JASA Roy Reuther Senior Center began a Hunger Drive on Monday November 7. The center was inspired by the fact that November is Hunger Awareness Month. The kickoff for the food drive was purposely planned to culminate the week of Thanksgiving to highlight hunger in our community and around the country. Members of the senior center brought canned goods for three weeks. On December 2, JASA Volunteer Services arranged for the Advocacy Center of Queens County, Inc to pick up approximately 10 bags and one large box of canned goods. Please call 718-471-3110 if you would like to learn about our programs at Roy Reuther Senior Center. JASA Roy Reuther Senior Center began a Hunger Drive on Monday November 7.
