Hunter and SJEH Unveil New Ambulance

Hunter Ambulance and St. John’s Episcopal Hospital unveiled their new ambulance that will serve the Rockaways of Queens and the Five Towns of Nassau. The new ambulance is a replacement vehicle for the St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and Hunter Ambulance joint effort to provide emergency ambulance services and is titled “Emergi-Care.” In the photo in front of the ambulance are (from left to right): David Gonzalez, EMT, Hunter Ambulance; John Rinset, Chief Operating Officer, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital; Victoria Backus, NP, Emergency Department Director; Rajiv Prasad, MD, Interim Chairman, Department of Emergency Medicine; Daniel Leibowitz, President, Hunter Ambulance; and Devindra Persaud, EMT, Hunter Ambulance.
