It was announced this week that the longtime Rockaway Beach based band, Indaculture will perform at B.B. King’s Blues Club and Grill in Times Square on December 28.

The band will open for the popular Sublime tribute band, Badfish. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m. Get there early to check out Indaculture and other opening acts, Mighty Mystic, Avon Junkies and On the Fifty.

According to Indaculture’s lead guitarist and vocalist, Danny Mulvanerty, the catalyst for the prestigious invite to open for Badfish came mostly from word-of-mouth. The fact that over 300 tickets were sold for the last two gigs at the legendary venue, proved the band’s popularity and caught the attention of the management and promoters of BB King’s.

The band has recently enjoyed great success over the summer playing gigs in Northern Ireland as well as opening for well known Irish band The Hot House Flowers as part of La Cheile music festival in Galway.

Indaculture music draws roots from reggae, blues, bluegrass, soul and funk music. Featuring the soulful, captivating vocals of Jenna Baker, the band performs originals and covers and consists of two guitars, drums, keyboard and bass. Award-winning singer/songwriter Mulvanerty is the other lead vocalist. Chris Rudolph on rhythm guitar, Bobby Butler playing bass and drummer Matt Allen add to the sum of Indaculture’s dynamic parts.
