New Group Program Available At West End

As of November 1, West End Temple began the Partners in Caring (PIC) program (a UJA Federation of NY Initiative) funded by the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services Community Connections: Jewish Community Services and the family of Lillian Russell in her memory.

The synagogue now offers weekly support and activity groups, as well as crisis intervention, time-limited counseling, information and referral.

The program is led by New York State licensed master social worker, Sara Schulman and meets every Thursday afternoon.

Groups include: Adults (75 years and over); Caregivers and Family Members; and, Culturally Based Social Activities. These theme-based groups will cover a wide variety of topics and are available to congregation members as well as the broader community at large.
