PHC Announces Radiology Administrator
Todd L. Miller, CEO of Peninsula Hospital Center, announced the appointment of Jeff Papkin, RT, (R) MR, as Radiology Administrator. A native of the Rockaways, Papkin has worked at Peninsula Hospital Center for the last 30 years, beginning his career as a Special Procedure Technologist.
Rising through the ranks, Papkin has held the position of Acting Director of Imaging Services for the past two years. “It is our intention to have the very latest in imaging equipment in place very quickly,” emphasized Miller. “We have already made strides in the right direction with more digital technology on the way.”
Papkin echoes those statements. “I’m looking forward to the planned modernization of the Imaging Department in the very near future,” says Papkin. “The imaging services we now have, however, are excellent and we have very dedicated staff in place along with a team of expert radiologists, Dr. Stanley Sprecher, Director, and Co-Director Dr. Richard Steinberg.
We are all very committed to providing the community with the very latest in imaging technology and are very proud of the newly installed Emergency Department Digital diagnostic equipment, Philips BrightView Nuclear SPECT camera and the new Cardiac Science Stress Test system being installed this week.”
