PHC Sets New Cardiac Stress Test Technology
Peninsula Hospital Center’s Department of Nuclear Medicine recently announced the addition of new stress test technology in the form of the Cardiac Science Quintor Q-Stress Cardiac Stress System. This equipment is the very latest in stress testing and allows patients to feel both confident and secure during the test while it provides physicians with comprehensive cardiac test results, a hospital spokesperson says. Through this technology, cardiologists will be able to obtain a more accurate cardiac patient profile. Todd Miller, hospital CEO, is very pleased about the hospital’s acquisition. “This is only the beginning,” says Miller. “We also have a brand new Philips BrightView SPECT camera in the Nuclear Medicine Department. Our goal – equipping this hospital with the latest in diagnostic and treatment technology for this community.” Pictured, from left, Willie Carr, chief technologist, Department of Nuclear Medicine and Raymond Golowaty, Nuclear Technologist.
