100 Pct Announces Neighborhood Watch



The entire 100 Precinct Anti-Crime unit was honored at the meeting for their role in apprehending six armed individuals on October 7. The six men ran from the cops near Hammel Houses and were quarantined beneath the boardwalk at Beach 84 street when they tried to bury their guns in the sand. NYPD Queens South Lieutenant Cleare was on hand this Wednesday at the 100 Precinct Community Council meeting to announce a neighborhood watch pilot program. The 100 Precinct was selected as one of the Queens South precincts that will take part in the block watching program. Specifics about the program are in developmental stages. The 100 Precinct expects an update on how to get involved by the next council meeting on December 21.
