BCAC Shamrocks Host Three Football Playoff Games

It is now time for Shamrock Pride as all the BCAC Shamrock football teams get ready for some intense playoff games. Another successful regular season came to a close last weekend and now the young warriors are prepared for the post season. The whole year the Broad Channel Athletic Club has been celebrating its 50th anniversary and what better way to continue the festivities than with three home playoff games this Sunday. The first game at BCAC Memorial Field is the Shamrock Pee Wees taking on Bethpage at 10 a.m.

Immediately following the conclusion of that game, the Shamrock Midgets will be taking on Bethpage in a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship game at 11:30 a.m. Then closing out the tripleheader will be the Shamrock Ponies vs. Babylon at 1 p.m.

All three games will take place this Sunday at Broad Channel Memorial Field. The BCAC Shamrock Seniors will be playing on the road on Saturday night at West Babylon at 6 p.m.

This Sunday will mark the first time in BCAC history that there will be three football home games in one day. So if you ever played for the Green and White, then come on out and cheer on the new generation of Shamrocks as they make their run towards the Super Bowl. Wear plenty of Green and White and bring your loudest screaming voices. It promises to be an historic day, so don’t miss out.
