A Hollister jacket such as this one was taken at razor point in Arverne on November 5. A Hollister jacket such as this one was taken at razor point in Arverne on November 5. An Arverne man was robbed of his designer jacket by a duo of thugs, one threatening with a razor and the other with a black handgun showing in his waistband.

Police sources say that Ashanti Brown was walking at Beach 69 Street and Hillmeyer Avenue when he was approached by the two thugs, who were on bicycles, and who were accompanied by several other men.

One of the men, later identified by court papers as Jeremiah Robinsion, 17, of 144-16 South Road in Ozone Park, demanded his blue Hollister Jacket, a designer jacket now in fashion.

“Give me your jacket, Robinson allegedly said. “I’m cold.”

The still-unidentified man rode over to Brown and said to his friends, “I’m going to smoke him.”

“Just give him the jacket,” the man with the gun said.

Brown turned over the jacket.

Police corralled Robinson a short distance away, wearing the jacket, which was later identified by Brown as his property.

The razor was recovered from Brown’s pant’s pocket, court documents show.

Police are still searching for Robinson’s accomplice.

Robinson was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on November 7, charged with robbery, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a weapon.
