Xavier Students Honored
Joseph Klein, resident of Far Rockaway and a member of Xavier High School’s Graduating Class of 2012, was recognized as a recipient of the University of Rochester Xerox Award for excellence in Science and Technology at Xavier’s Fall Honors Assembly, held October 4.
The University of Rochester presents the award, sponsored by Xerox, to a senior who has demonstrated an excellence and interest in technology.
Another local resident, Ciaran McGee, of Rockaway Park who is also a member of Xavier High School’s Graduating Class of 2012, was recognized as a recipient of the Prudential Spirit of Community Certificate of Merit at Xavier’s Fall Honors Assembly.
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards provide an opportunity for the Xavier High School to celebrate the volunteerism and service of the many Xavier students.
Xavier High School has also been given the opportunity to acknowledge four additional students with Certificates of Merit in recognition of their outstanding community service.
