Todd Rundgren Performing Next Week

Live Nation will present Todd Rundgren’s UTOPIA at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Sunday, November 13 at 8 p.m.

Todd Rundgren led the rock group Nazz in the 1960s with which he originally recorded his hit single, “Hello, It’s Me” as the flip side to the single “Open My Eyes.” It became a number one hit in Boston in 1968. He later recorded an uptempo version of the song which was released in 1972 for his Something/Anything? album. Rundgren charted a number of other popular singles including “We Gotta Get You A Woman” and “I Saw the Light” before founding Utopia. The 2011 reunion tour features Todd Rundgren, Kevin Ellman, Jesse Gress, Moogy Klingman, Ralph Schuckett, John Siegler and Kasim Sulton. Among their most popular compositions are “The Road to Utopia,” “Caravan,” and “Set Me Free.” For further venue information, visit www.TheTheatreAt Westbury.com.
