Maak Enrolls At St.Lawrence University
St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York welcomes Jade Y. Maak of Rockaway Park as a member of the class of 2015.
Each first-year student participates in St. Lawrence University’s innovative First-Year Program, an introduction to the liberal arts curriculum taught in residence halls by the faculty teams. Clear writing and speaking skills are stressed, and careful advising is provided for all students. Some 655 firstyear students from 26 U.S. states, as well as 40 international students representing 20 nationalities, have joined the St. Lawrence student body. St. Lawrence, the oldest continuously degreegranting coeducational college in New York State, is a residential, liberal arts and sciences institution that encourages all faculty and students to participate in teaching and learning.
Maak graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School.
