The upper school of Visitation Academy visited the Museum of Natural History and viewed the exhibit on Dinosaurs. They were able to view more than 116 vertebrates. The students explored aspects of the exhibit including videos, interactive features, interesting fun facts and behind the scenes photos. The students played games, worked with puzzles and examined fossils, which provided clues to the earth’s ancient life and history. Academy students have previously visited the museum and seen the Silk Road, the Brain, and now Dinosaurs. This is part of bringing science out of the classroom and into another environment to explore other facets of the subject being studied.
