Peninsula Hospital Center’s Auxiliary met on October 4 with a feeling of rebirth and exuberance and renewed commitment to its mission to assist the Hospital Center as it moves forward. Todd L. Miller, Chief Executive Officer, was introduced to the Executive Board and the Hospital Center’s new Chief Restructuring Officer, Michael S. Kaminski, FACHE, spoke about the role he will play as the restructuring officer. Sheila Schwartz, president of the Auxiliary, was thrilled that the group was all together again. “We didn’t know what was going to happen,” said Schwartz. “We were all very upset by the possible closure and are so excited that Peninsula Hospital Center is back!” The group is already planning numerous activities for the months ahead.
