The two were standing, at about 11:40 p.m., in front of 433 Beach 40 Street, in the sprawling 40’s housing project.

One of the two teens was an unidentified 19-year-old Rockaway resident who was shot twice – once through the right leg and once in the right arm.

The second was an unidentified male, 16, who was shot once in the right thigh.

Neither of the men suffered lifethreatening wounds, police said.

Neither man could identify his assailant and both said that they knew of no motive for the attack.

Both men were transported to Jamaica Hospital by Emergency Medical Service ambulances.

They were treated at the hospital’s trauma center, kept overnight for observation and then released, according to hospital sources.

The incident is being investigated by the 101 Precinct detective squad. Anybody with information on the shootings is urged to call the detectives at 718- 868-3429.
