Honoring Those Who Died On 9-11

Students and staff at PS/MS 105 under the direction of art teacher Norma Allende, created a paper quilt to commemorate the 10th anniversary of September 11. Each square was filled with words of sorrow and compassion for the victims who died on that tragic day. Students learned and discussed 9/11 events, and how many sacrificed their lives to save friends, co-workers and people they didn’t even know. To show their appreciation to those who are willing to give their lives to protect our country, students committed to do something for others in their community and family.
