Thanks For The Help
Culinary Kids Culinary Arts Initiatives would like to thank the following individuals and groups for encouraging us over the years and watching us grow as an organization:
First and foremost, we thank Susan Locke, publisher of The Wave; Howard Schwach, editor-in-chief; Vivian Carter and Miriam Rosenberg, columnists; and The Wave staff for their coverage of our organization and activities – it is greatly appreciated.
We would also like to thank Assemblywoman Michele R. Titus and Jill Weber, Rockaway’s Administrator for NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, and their staff members for continuous assistance with our group’s efforts. We are also indebted to the Community Affairs officers of the 101 Precinct, who have been very helpful, as well as Jon Gaska and Community Board 14, and former Wave editor Gary “The G Man” Toms, who kindly agreed to attend our recent “Seafood Bash on the Beach,” to speak with, and inspire the young people of Far Rockaway.
We would also like to thank the vendors who attended our fundraiser, especially Donna Hamlet. We also extend our appreciation to the entire Beach 31 Street community for their participation and support. Thank you to all of our donors for their contributions to Culinary Kids Culinary Arts Initiatives Inc., particularly the Benevolence Committee of First Congregational Church; Anita Ruderman, proprietor of Hot Yoga of Rockaway Beach; Shirley Nash; and Tiffany Harris.
