Eerie Remnants of WTC Attacks Preserved At JFK Hangar
Remnants of the World Trade Center including steel, artifacts, emergency vehicles and others items are being preserved inside a hangar at JFK Airport. The Wave was invited to join Tribute Park organizers as they toured the facility a few years ago in search for a piece of World Trade Center steel to place in Tribute Park. The steel will be unveiled during the tenth anniversary ceremony at Tribute Park on September 11.
Several pieces of the façade steel remained intact and are being preserved at the hangar.
