Could Things Be Worse?

Dear Editor,

When have we heard, or never heard, of the debt ceiling till the last few months? Our politicians have made America look like a herd of baffling baboons in the eyes of the world. It’s hard to imagine that some of our elected officials like frog face Mitch McConnell and weeper of the house John Boehner would go to such lengths to make Barach Obama a one-term president. Imagine frog face demanding an interview with Obama. Frog face took Obama to the turf shed. He frogged him, flogged him and finished him. He was roasted, toasted and hung out to dry and didn’t even know it was happening. No wonder the weeper bragged about getting 98% of what he wanted. I thought he got more. Obama failed as president to lead. I think he was in a coma all during the debates on the debt ceiling, or maybe frog face served him toad poison.

I believe that the Tea Party did a good job despite all the hatred built up against them. They thought, like a lot of people, that in order to make meaningful change we must not be afraid to vote out the old and give the new a chance. Could they do any worse than what we have now? I am hopeful that the 2012 elections will vote more out of office including Obama. Not because Obama is such a terrible president but because change is the only way to teach all politicians a lesson. I voted for Obama but when I saw the CEO of Goldman Sachs taking three billion off the top of the bailout money and putting it in his pocket that did it for me. And when Obama stated that there wasn’t anything the government could do about it I knew right there and then I could never vote for him again. That CEO along with the other bank CEOs Obama put back to run the banks and steal our money should have gone to jail for what they did to the banking business. And with them all our elected officials that had any dealings with the banks. Can anyone predict with certainty that the banks are not going to fail again?

It is the easiest thing in the world to solve our problems but there is no one in office today that can do that, including Obama. Simply ask the wealthy to pay their fare share of taxes. I am convinced that if they were asked to do that they would. The wealthy are the last ones on earth that would like to see America go down the drain. Who would blow up his work place or the house that he lives in? If that doesn’t work the masses will take to the streets. Remember, the power is in the people.
